Roots Juices was founded by a simple guy with a dream. After nearly a decade of working in corporate America Brent Rodgers was stressed out and living in a pitiful miserable life. He quit his job with a Fortune 500 company to travel the world. He traveled through the jungles of South America, laid on the beaches of Australia, dined in the floating markets of Asia, rode on a donkey in the middle East, and took the high speed trains all over Europe. Early on in his journey through Peru he discovered people were juicing. Carrots, Celery, Beets. He drank fresh spinach juice with refugees he met on the border of Jordan and Syria, in the most unlikely of places. They had been juicing for years, and they lived healthy long lives. In every country, city, rural or urban, Brent discovered people all over the world that had embraced juicing. He wondered why it never took off in the states.
He was inspired by this and determined to bring the concept of juicing and get people in the US to embrace juicing and get back to their roots. Then came the idea for Roots Juices. What makes Roots different is that our juices come from a hydraulic cold pressed juicer. It is the highest quality juicer that is available. A normal kitchen centrifugal juicer takes a whole fruit and squeezes out the juice through a high speed spinning process and eliminates many of the vitamins, minerals, and enzymes along the way. It takes an estimated 2-3 pounds of fruits and vegetables to create one refreshing 16 oz juice. Our pressed juicer grinds the ingredients then presses out the juices from the pulp with thousands of pounds of pressure to get every last drop of juice. The juices are then bottled and delivered to your doorstep if you request. All of our ingredients come from local Farmers!!!!!!
