Juicing is great for detoxing our inner organs. We knew that. But what about the largest organ of absorption and elimination??? The SKIN!! Even when we do remember the old skin suit, it’s usually just our face we care to exfoliate. Well, we need to take more care.
Our skin is clogged with toxins and dead cells that need to be eliminated. Our skin is playing red rover and won’t send those toxins right over….your epidermis layer.That’s disgusting. Let them through, for the love for nancy, they are doing no good!
Dry brushing (on a daily basis) can provide numerous benefits! It buffs away dead skin cells, boosts circulation and lymphatic drainage, and ultimately rids the body of toxins. It promotes tighter skin, cell renewal, and blood flow.
But how, roots blog, how?
First, buy a body brush made of natural (not synthetic) bristles with a long handle for those hard to reach areas. Now, before you shower (on dry skin!) start making long brush strokes all over your body, avoiding scrubbing and circular motions. Continue until you have reached every area, including your back! Avoid brushing too hard. The skin should be stimulated, but not red or irritated. It is best to do this daily before you shower and shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes to incorporate this new healthy habit into your day.
